Facebook launched its IPO on Friday, after weeks of continuous blather about the company, Mark Zuckerberg and his hoodie, and the stock's valuation. The "excitement" about this over-priced and over-hyped company was incredible. Everyone wanted to get "in" on the action, or so it seemed. We were told it was oversubscribed, the valuation didn't matter because there were 900 million users, etc. Everyone was going to get rich "flipping the stock" the first day. The IPO was fully priced at $38.00 and the stock is now dropping on Monday.

This IPO reminds me of the Obama campaign in 2008. Obama was a fresh "IPO" -- full of promise for the future. He had no "earnings" (track record) but he looked and sounded good. Now he has had three and 1/2 years of no-growth, record debt, and his compnay, the USA, is near bankruptcy. Will the voters short the Obama IPO in November and elect Romney?

Time will tell, but to me the Obama IPO means I Prefer Others.

Lugar Loses: 26 Old Farts Remain in the U.S. Senate

Senator Richard Lugar, aka Obama's favorite Republican, was defeated in the Indiana primary last night. Good riddance. After 30 years of "reaching across the aisle" only to get screwed, it was time for this 80 year old fossil to leave. The United States Senate is loaded with old and powerful people who need to leave and start collecting their generous retirement benefts (before they get cut).

The Senate is currently comprised of 4 (including Lugar) men in their 80's (two 87 year olds from Hawaii!), 23 people in their 70's, and 18 people age 65 to 69. That means 45% of the U.S. Senate has people who should be collecting Social Security benefits. No wonder they never pass a budget -- they probably forgot!

How can you expect these old farts to give a damn about the future of America when they won't be around to see its financial collapse? Congratulations to Indiana State Treasurer RIchard Mourdock and the Tea Party for booting old man Lugar out of office. It's time for some new blood in Washington.

President Obama sent out an e-mail last night titled: "Statement by the President on the Retirement of Senator Richard Lugar." Perhaps the president should use this template when he retires after the November election.

Barack Obabble yesterday tried to re-capture at a campaign rally at Ohio State University the illusory magic of his history-making 2008 campaign, He laid out his blowhard case for reelection, pleading with struggling Americans to "keep believing in me" and demonizing Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

"If people ask you what this campaign is about, you tell them 'it's still about hope.' You tell them 'it's still about change,'" he told cheering supporters at Ohio State University in Columbus, six months and one day before the election. "I still believe in you. And I'm asking you to keep believing in me."

"We want businesses to succeed, we want entrepreneurs and investors rewarded when they take risks, when they create jobs and grow our economy. But the true measure of our prosperity is more than just a running tally of every balance sheet and quarterly profit report. I don't care how many ways you try to explain it: Corporations aren't people. People are people," Obama said, trying to mock candidate Romney.

"The real question, the question that will actually make a difference in your life, in the lives of your children, is not just about how we're doing today. It's about how we'll be doing tomorrow," Obama said. "Will we be better off if more Americans get a better eduation? That's the question. Will be be better off if we depend less on foreign oil and more on our own ingenuity?That's the question. Will we be better off if we start doing some nation building right here at home? That's the question. Will we be better off if we bring down our deficit without gutting the very things we need to grow?"

The attendance at this event was way down from the glory days of the 2008 Hot Air campaign.. He is trying to convince young voters who have dismal job prospects that Hope & Change deserves a second chance. He fails to mention that on one hand he loves them, but on the other hand he won't mention that he will want to raise taxes on their success when they become members of the evil rich.

President Obabble highlighted the “good news” in the latest jobs report today, but, speaking in the battleground state of Virginia, stressed “we’ve got to do more” to boost the economy, including freezing low interest rates for student loans.

President Obabble, speaking to students at Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, bragged that the unemployment rate “ticked down again” from 8.2 percent in March to 8.1 percent in April, while glossing over the fact that the economy created just 115,000 jobs last month.

The president forgot to mention that the Obama way to reduce the unemployment rate is by killing jobs and having people drop out of the labor force. But that is the liberal way. Obama is a killing machine. He kills terrorists and kills jobs and brags about both!

Obama said: “After the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, our businesses have now created more than 4.2 million new jobs over the last 26 months, more than 1 million jobs in the last six months alone, “So that’s the good news. But there are still a lot of folks out of work, which means that we’ve got to do more.” (I'm not sure where he got these numbers from but it must be from the jobs saved and created liberal fact book.)

He then went on to argue for Congress to maintain low interest rates for student loans. “My message to Congress is going to be, just saying no to ideas that will create new jobs is not an option. There’s too much at stake for us not to all be rowing in the same direction,” Obama said.

Rowing in the same direction. What a methaphor. The president is the captain of the great economic ship The Titanic and he is telling everyone to row in the same direction. If I were on his ship I would jump in the life boat and row in the SAME DIRECTION as everyone else -- as far away from his sinking ship as possible.

The Imperial President will Continue to Make Promises We Can't Afford

If Barack Obama, aka Barack Obabble, with his dismal economic record, were running for re-election 15 or 20 years ago, he would have no chance to win. Even Bob Dole could probably beat him. However, the United States is a much different nation now. Today almost half of the work force pays no income taxes and close to 40 million are on food stamps. Then you have the millions of people who are on Medicaid, Social Security, and welfare -- all people who depend on the government for full or partial support. We have become Entitlement Nation.

Barack Obabble belongs in Europe. Unfortunately, he is in the U.S. and he is running hard to be re-elected so he can finish his job (and finish us off). Meanwhile, Europe is in total disarray. Greece, Spain, Italy, France and other European countries have made an attempt at government austerity and the results have been met with violence in the streets and political turmoil. The moochers in these countries do not want austerity, they want more "free" stuff, as long as someone else pays for it. France appears to be headed far left with the election of Socialist Hollande and the Netherlands attempt at austerity has apparently collapsed.

What is the lesson for the U.S.? Quite simply, if you try fiscal austerity there will be violence and protests. The moochers in our entitlement state greatly outnumber those who pay for all this nonsense. So if you think the free spending, left-wing Obama will be easily defeated in November, think again. Just look at Europe. Their leaders tried austerity for about two weeks and it is not working politically. It will take a total Euro currency collapse to get fiscal austerity passed and by then it will be too late to repair the damage.

Obabble does not care about his massive budget deficits and why should he? He sees Europe and how unpopular austerity is, so he will roll the dice and keep promising the moochers the "free stuff" can be paid for by the rich. His plan might work....just look at the politcal cowards in Europe too afraid to prescribe the proper medicine to a fiscally sick continent.

Barack Obama, the Campaigner-in-Chief, is the master of overpromising and underdelivering. We should have known he was full of hot air when he used the Greek columns for his nomination acceptance speech in 2008. How ironic that he would use the symbol of a bankrupt Greece as his background. He wanted to be looked at as some kind of Greek god. Instead he has accumulated over $5 trillion in additional debt in just 3 and 1/2 years in office. Maybe he should make his next acceptance speech at a pawn shop or used car lot.

He promised to bring the red states and blue states together. Instead he has made us all purple...the color of the award we give to our brave soldiers who are wounded in battle. He is not a uniter, but a divider. He promised Hope & Change, but delivered Divide & Conquer. Romney calls him a nice guy, but I disagree. He is a con man extraordinaire. He will do anything, say anything and spend any amount of money to get re-elected.

President Barack Fidel Obama once again preached class warfare at a campaign rally before a bunch of starry eyed, future unemployed students at FAU the other day. Are these future progressives ready to go out into the cold, hard, socialist world of Obabblenomics? He again railed against millionaires and billionaires and said they are not paying their "fair share" in taxes. He went on and on for 40 minutes and preached his class warfare game. He talks about "millionaires and billionaires" while he really wants to tax people making over $250 K per year. He might think it's smart politics to pick on the rich but it is stupid economics.

Meanwhile, his buddy Senator Chuck Schumer of New York on CBS dismissed conservative claims that Democrats were politicizing the issue and targeting the wealthy to earn populist credibility for November.

Chucky boy pontificated: "So if you don't want to do more deficit spending, and there's a consensus there, you've got to find the money somewhere, and this is a logical place to do it. But no question, Bloomberg is right, it's not going to answer the whole question. That's not an argument against it. You've got to start somewhere."

The way the liberals are spending money we do not have and making bogus budget cuts that are racking up trillions of dollars in deficits, it is only a matter of time before the middle class ends up paying MORE in taxes because that's where the real money is. As Chuck the blowhard said: "You've got to start somewhere". That's what taxpayers are afraid of. They start with the rich and end up screwing everybody else.

Barack Obama, aka the Spender-in-Chief, attacked Paul Ryan and the GOP the other day by proclaiming that they were practicing a thinly veiled "social Darwinism". In typical, liberal fashion he denounced the Republicans by insinuating they wanted to radically transform social welfare programs to pit Americans against each other for limited resources (tax revenues) and let the poor and weak die out -- a kind of “dog eat dog” capitalism. Of course, the president did not offer up any alternatives to the Ryan budget plan.

So is the 2012 presidential campaign going to shape up as a battle between the GOP's alleged "Social Darwinism" v. Obabble's Inattention Deficit Disorder (IDD)? For the readers out there in Beltway Blowhard-land, IDD is the presidential disease that justifies Obabblenomics by sayiing anything, doing anything, promising everything, and spending everything without any attention to our enormous deficit problems.

Paul Ryan has some great long term ideas to get the nation out of its financial mess that has been brewing for decades. The plan is not perfect but deserves to be debated seriously against Obama's liberal alternative. Obabble and his liberal buddies have doubled down on spending the last three years and have put us on the edge of the financial deficit cliff. (Many would argue that we are already over the cliff.) We can make a serious attempt to control spending with so-called "Social Darwinism" or let Obabble's Inattention Deficit Disorder bankrupt the nation.

It is time for Paul Ryan to hold a news conference and call the president's bluff. The president has been ridiculing and lambasting him for months. Or perhaps Obabble can assign his VP Joe Gaffe Biden to pinch hit for him in a debate. Regardless, it is time for the GOP to take off the gloves because we know that the Democrats will do and say anything to get elected and bankrupt us along the way if they are left unchecked. It is impossible to outbid the Democrats in their profligate ways so we might as well call them out on their stupidity before the bond vigilantes end the game. Time is running out...just look at Europe.

Suggested Homework Assignments for Other Politicians

The Justice Department met the deadline set by the 5th Circuit Court today. Eric Holder sent a letter that appears to have met the primary criteria set by Judge Smith that it be "three pages, single spaced" when he responded to the question about judicial review of the constitutionality of acts of Congress.

This requirement for a reply to be of a certain length and format I am sure brings back memories for anyone who ever had a term paper, book report or other report assigned by his or her teacher. I always used to make sure I indented as much as possible and double-spaced my paragraphs. You can be assured that the liberal media will proclaim Eric Holder "aced" his homework assignment.

Here are some other assignments I would like to see assigned to some of our more famous politicians:

President Obama: After school assignment...Write on the blackboard 50 times: "I will not demonize millionaires and billionaires during the election."

Mitt Romney: Read a book about Ronald Reagan and study the pictures of the ex-President. Report back in three pages, double spaced, how often you saw him without a suit or tie when he was on the campaign trail or working in the oval office.

RIck Santorum: A Math Quiz....What is the probability of a presidential candidate winning the nomination when he is in second place and needs to win 80% of the remaining delegates, when he has never won any previous primary contest with over 50% of the votes? This is a pop quiz and requires an answer within 60 seconds.

Nancy Pelosi: Take a speed reading course and then tell us all the hidden taxes that are in the Un- Affordable Health Care Act. The report must be at least 500 pages, single spaced and delivered to Fox News the day after Easter Sunday.

Harry Reid: Review Senate procedures and send a budget to be voted on by Friday the 13th, April.

Obama's Big Deception v. Big Oil

Barack Obama, the Green Energy Campaigner-in-Chief, made a fool of himself in the Rose Garden the other day when he again attacked "Big Oil" . WIth a group of regular American folks standing behind him he attacked the oil companies record profits last year and singled out Exxon Mobil:

"Exxon pocketed nearly $4.7 million every hour. And when the price of oil goes up, prices at the pump go up, and so do these companies profits. In fact, one analysis shows that every time gas goes up by a penny, these companies usually pocket another $200 million in quarterly profits. Meanwhile, these companies pay a lower tax rate than most other companies on their investments - partly because we're giving them billions in tax giveaways every year.....We can't just drill our way out of this problem. We use more than 20% of the world's oil, but we only have 2% of the world's known oil reserves."

He then went on and on with his Big Deception and explained how he wants an All of the Above Energy Policy, one that invests in wind and solar power and other nonsense like bio-fuels. He also failed to mention that the state and federal governments "pocket" far more in taxes on a gallon of gas than the oil companies do in profits! But why remind the folks of this fact, that the government is always picking our pockets.

The purpose of his speech is part of his War on Wealth and anti - Big Business campaign. He does not have an energy policy other than to waste billions on clean energy boondoggles like Solyndra. He rails against the $4 billion dollars in ANNUAL oil tax breaks (which is just an accelerated depreciation allowance) while neglecting to mention that this $4 billion amounts to ONE DAY of our national deficit.

It's too bad the president doesn't attack our Big Deficits like he attacks big oil. I recently filled up my car and paid $4.13 per gallon. Drill, Baby, Drill. It sure beats Obama's Big Deception over oil.

David Plouffe Discusses Obabblenomics On Fox News Sunday

Chris Wallace had Barack Obama's senior advisor, David Plouffe on Fox News Sunday this morning. Mr Plouffe had a relatively easy job managing Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. He had a young, charasmatic candidate with no legislative track record running against an inept fuddy-duddy John McCain. He won handily. Now Mr. Plouffe has a much tougher job -- getting a president who has a disastrous economic and foreign policy record re-elected.

In typical liberal fashion Mr. Plouffe used his talkiing points and some made up statistics to prove that Obama has a visionary energy policy. When asked by Mr. Wallace about gas prices doubling since the president took office Mr. Plouffe said:

"We have to do everything we can here to produce oil and natural gas here in this country. And we're doing that. Production is at an eight-year high, triple the rigs in the fields as there was when the president came to office. But that's only part of the answer. We have to then quickly move to wind, and solar and biofuels, and next generation cars. It's why the fuel efficiency standards that the president arranged with the automakers are so important. At this point in the next decade, the average car is going to get 56 miles a gallon.

It means we're going to continue to lead in innovation in the automotive field. It means the average person is going to save $8,000, and we're going to save billions of dollars. So, this is a long-term project. We've got to do everything we can and we're making a lot of progress. But, obviously, we're not going to get the energy future we need until we have that "all of the above" strategy."

Mr. Plouffe took a page out of Obabblenonics -- the science of daily pontification using numbers that are twisted through the liberal, progressive prism to reach a false conclusion.

Obama and his minions continue to tout an "all of the above" energy strategy which includes the tried and true losers like wind, solar, batteries and bio-fuels. Bio -fuels--only a stupid tree hugger believes in this nonsense. Like it or not, all the "greenies" out there are stuck with coal, oil and natural gas for the next century because they will continue to fill 95+% of our energy needs.

What really struck me about the pontificator Plouffe was his statement about the $8,000 in savings the "average person" is going to save because of the fictional 56 mph the cars are all going to get the next decade. Where did he get that $8,000 number? Are cars going to decrease in price by $8,000 or will there be an $8,000 tax credit for a mini-Obama car in 2025? Or maybe he was calculating the fuel savings one could get by getting 56 mpg. Even that number doesn't add up. (if you drive 15,000 miles a year and get 20 MPG, at $4.00 per gallon, you spend $3,000 per year. If you get 56 MPG, you will "save" about $2,000 per year.) Maybe Mr,. Ploufe got the made up $8,000 savings number by assuming gasoline will be $12.00 a gallon in 2025. Than Mr. Chu and Obama can take a bow with their "all of the above" energy strategy.

Obabblenomics: the science of daily pontification using numbers that are twisted through the liberal, progressive prism to reach a false conclusion. The liberals are masters at this twisted pretzel logic. It's time to call them out when they use these liberal, pie-in-the-sky numbers to justify their stupid green "all of the above" energy non-policy.

Happy Second Birthday to the Unaffordable Health Care Act of 2010, now called Obamanable-Care. This disaster of an entitlement, which is already estimated by the CBO to be twice as expensive as originally estimated, is a train wreck waiting to happen. This country should have already learned the hard way about going brankrupt by providing health benefits to the masses via Medicare and Medicaid. In typical liberal lunatic fashion, they decided to pile on and try another entitlement and pay for it with ludicrous cost containment promises and printed money.

So leave it to House Minority Leader Nancy Pandemic Pelosi to justify this law by proclaiming it actually helps people meet the goal outlined in the Declaration of Independence, which promotes mankind's rights to "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Our founding fathers must be rolling over in their graves. It is scary to thing this moron was only two heartbeats away from the presidency when she was the Speaker of the House.

Nancy Pelosi was right when she said we had to pass the bill to see what was in it. We have just begun to see what is in the bill and the majority of the American people don't like what they see. The DC Dumbocratic Dodos and liberal Beltway Blowhards will defend this bill until the money printing presses run out of ink. It is what liberals do--they promise their base every entitlement, regardless of cost, just to get re-elected. Because after all, it's "free".

Barack Obama went to Cushing,OK on the third leg of his Magical Mystery Energy Tour. The price of gasoline has more than doubled since Obabble took office and he continues to tout his "all of the above" energy policy. His all of the above policy includes wasting tens of billions of dollars on tried and true wastes of money like solar and wind power and electric cars while bashing the oil and gas companies every chance he gets. In Cushing, he promised to speed up the lower half of the Keystone XL pipeline. Everyone knows this part of the pipeline does not need his approval, yet he wants to show America how committed he is to hls non-energy policy.

This XL pipeline has been studied to death for over three years. The only part of this project that is "controversial" is in Nebraska. Someone forgot to mention that the pipeline construction could be started in the north (Canada) and south simultaneously and, when the envirionmental issues are resolved in Nebraska, the north and south sections could be connected. Like the transcontinental railroad, the north and south sections of the pipeline could then be connected in Nebraska with a "golden spike ceremony". To celebrate its conclusion, Obama would drive the golden spike into the pipeline and cause a massive oil spill over the aquifer. Then he could proclaim to the world, "see, I told you this pipeline could cause environmental hazards. I am suspending all drilling for oil and gas in the U.S. and committing $100 billion to algae and pond scum research. I will appoint Al G. Gore as my new Pond Scum and Algae Czar."

Obabbling About Energy: No Quick Fix or Silver Bullet

I just returned from filling up my gas guzzling Toyota Highlander, which gets about 18 MPH. It cost me $72.00, while the guy next to me was driving a HUGE SUV -- not sure what it was, but it was twice the size of my car. It cost him $109.00. I noticed he had a fading 2008 Obama bumper sticker on his back bumper. I couldn't resist, so I asked him: "How's that 'Hope & Change' working out for you?" He muttered to me: "it's not his fault. There is no quick fix to energy prices." Ahh.....another brainwashed Obamanoid!

Meanwhile, the president is hard at work filling out his NCAA brackets on ESPN and entertaining Prime Minister Cameron from Great Britain. In his spare time he raises lots of money and never fails to tell his true believers that there is "no quick fix" or "silver bullet" to fix high evergy prices.

Let's see...there is no quick fix or silver bullet. It looks to me that we have to start somewhere on energy policy. I still remember the patheitc Carter years: long gas lines, odd/even days, fist fights at the gas stations.Out of this mess Carter created the infamous Department of (NO) Energy. The past thirty years the United States has had no real, concerted energy policy. The blame rests with both the Democrat and Republican parties. Now Obama is pursuing his idiotic and expensive green energy boondoggles, while ignoring the fact that oil, gas and coal will have to provide at least 95% of our energy needs for the next few decades, until that magic silver bullet is invented.

Meanwhile, the president seems to be vacillating between a no quick fix and a no fix energy policy. Most Americans would be satisfied with a slow fix policy of drill, baby, drill for American oil. We have plenty of it. Let's get started on a real slow-fix energy policy.

I doubt Obama knows what this is.

Chevy Volts and the Mighty Fisker: Obama Ignores the Bad Karma

GM, Government Motors, has temporarily halted production of their over-priced, over-hyped Chevy Volt. Meanwhile, Consumer Reports just reported the $100K Fisker Karma hybrid green motorcar couldn't even be started and had to be put on a tow truck. (During a routine speedometer calibration by the engineers at Consumer Reports, the Karma's dashboard flashed an error message and the car stopped entirely and wouldn't shift into any gear except Neutral and Park. After turning the car off and waiting a few hours, they restarted it, only to see the same problem reoccur after driving a few feet. Finally, the Karma was towed for repairs. This is the FIRST time a car failed so miserably!) What's next for the administration to tout and subsidize -- the Pond-Scummobile?

So what does Barack Obabble do? He ignores the facts and continues to campaign all over the country that there is no "quick fix" to higher gas prices. Of course there isn't -- that's why he pressured some of his Dumbocratic Senators last night to kill the Keystone XL pipeline.

The president claims we have only 2% of the world's oil reserves and we consume 20% of the world's oil. The 2% is inaccurate but the 20% seems fair since we also protect 75% of the globe. How much oil do you think we could save if we stopped protecting all of our cowardly allies?

No matter how grim the green energy results are, the president will continue to flail away at his green Obabble-nomics agenda. Any taxpayer with just half a brain and some skin in the game can see how stupid and expensive Obabble's green agenda is. When it comes to the green Obabble-nomics agenda -- wind mills, bio-fuels, pond scum, electric cars, etc. there are two choices -- stupid and Obama-stupid.

Obabblenomics & Energy: Shooting Blanks Instead of Silver Bullets

Barack Obama, the Cap and Trader-in-Chief is finally getting his wish for higher energy prices, but he does not want to take credit for them. Instead, quoting a page from Obabblenomics, which is the science of daily speech-giving to solve problems, the President said there is no "silver bullet" to solve our energy problems.

He mocked the "drill, baby, drill" crowd while ignoring the fact that natural gas was $15 MCF before the industry ramped up under Bush 43 and started to "frack, frack, frack". Now it is $2.50 per MCF, in spite of Obama's constant attacks on the oil and gas industry as being "greedy". Now we have so much natural gas that the gas exploration companies are starting to shut down some of their operations.

Some people say the president should summon the oil company executives to the White House for a summit to "jawbone" down gas prices like JFK did with the steel companies. However, the president better be prepared when Rex Tillerson, the CEO of Exxon, "shoots back" that his adminstration got what he wanted - higher energy prices - so now what is he going to do for the oil companies!

The president has no energy policy except to demonize the oil and gas industry while pursuing his nonsensical and wasteful green energy boondoggles. Yes, Mr. Obama, there is no silver bullet, but your Obabblenomical Energy Non-policy is SHOOTING BLANKS!

Better to turn the oil & gas companies loose than let the bozos from the Dept. of No Energy make policy!

Obabble-nomics (Hope & Change) Hits the Family Budget

Everybody likes to use the dining room for family get-togethers. It usually is a "fun room" except when I use it to figure out our taxes. Every year in February, I pull out the tax folder where I put all our "stuff" we need to keep for tax day. After spending a couple of hours getting the information ready for my accountant, I saw the real impact of Hope & Change or Obabble-nomics.

When Obabble was running for president he promised Hope & Change. When Obamanable-Care was shoved down our throat the genius Nancy Pandemic Pelosi proclaimed that we'd see what was in the bill after they passed it. 10% to 20% insurance premium cuts were suggested by all the liberals. Hope & Change for everyone.

Then Obabble "doubled down" on his green energy vision. Billions of dollars were wasted on subsidies for boondoggles like Solundra, windmills, electric cars, geo-thermal, bio-diesel etc. Meanwhile, the energy industry moved ahead in spite of all the obstacles the tree hugging adminstration threw in its way. Natural gas is plentiful and oil is being discovered in the U.S. like never before. Yet Obabble has no coherent energy policy except for spending even more on green energy while demonizing the oil and gas companies and killing the XL oil pipeline project.

Hope & Change has hit home in the Dandy household. Gasoline in blue Connecticut is up $2.00 a gallon since Obabble took office. Our health insurance premiums skyrocketed 11.6% and our long term care insurance premiums increased 12% the past year. Yes, Ms. Pelosi, I now now what Obamanable-Care does for us -- it makes us poorer.

Obabble can talk all he wants about Hope & Change, the economy getting better, the problems he inherited from Bush, "fairness", and the evil rich. When November rolls around, the electorate will vote their wallets and pocketbooks and they will be very angry.

Proof that Obama's Policies have Failed: Payroll Tax Cut and Jobless Benefits Bill

The president has been running for re-election for the last year while ranting and raving about fairness and taxing the rich to solve all our problems. Obama will use the rest of 2012 to put his campaign into overdrive. His performance on the job has been nothing short of pathetic. Yet he keeps pontificating how tough it has been and how he "deserves" four more years. Perish the thought.

Congress just passed an extension of the payroll tax cut and long-term jobless benefits, handing to Obama one of his election-year priorities despite widespread concerns about the bill's deficit implications of another $150 billion. The Republicans folded like a two dollar suitcase that you get charged $35.00 to check in at the airport.

Do you want proof that Obama's policies have failed? Look at the payroll tax cut and the extension of the long term jobless benefits bill. Why would we need more "stimulus" if Mr. Hope and Change's policies were working?

This bill is so stupid and irresponsible that few politicians will want to be seen at the signing ceremony. The president should just bring one signing pen for himself, unless Gary Coleman's twin brother shows up again.

Happy Third Birthday, Stimulus Package

Today marks the third birthday of Obama's $787 billion boondoggle stimulus package. We all know how successful that program was. To celebrate, the Congress and Senate both passed the unfunded extension of the payroll tax cut. We now are blowing another $150 billion to "give" taxpayers about $20 more a week in take home pay. Meanwhile, people who are retired or living on fixed income get screwed again. They get no stimulus money or interest on their savings. The mythical Social Security trust fund is now owed another $150 billion. Just put another I.O.U. in the file cabinet. We will get around to it when the economy gets better.

It's a good thing the 160 million working Americans are getting this money because it will go right into their gas tanks. Have you noticed the price of gas lately, Mr. Obama? Of course not. You are too busy flying around the country on Air Force One to raise money from all your tree-hugging friends. After you land you are escorted via an armored, stretch limosine that probably gets about 5 miles per gallon. $4.00 gas has already arrived in some of the blue states. When it goes over $4,50 per gallon, that will be all the Hope & Change the electorate can stand.

What should the good folks do with their new found riches? Let's see, we can save it for next year when this tax "cut" expires and the Bush tax cuts also expire. Or. we can sock it away to pay for all those annoying fees which keep popping up on our monthly bills to pay for all of the expanded Obama regulations. (Someone has to pay for all those "free" cell phones -- check your monthly phone bill!). Or better yet, we can take the $1,000.00 and add it to the increased $10,000 tax credit for a beautiful new Chevy Volt.

It's election year, everybody. There is candy for everybody. Our kids and grandkids will have to pay for all this nonsense some day. This spending has a Greecey feel to it. It is only a matter of time when the bond vigilantes start asking for higher interest rates on our massive debt. Then the game will be over, the spending cuts will be too late, and the riots will begin.

The President, John Boehner, and Harry Reid and all the morons who voted for this unfunded tax boondoggle should be ashamed of themselves. But as we all know, there is no shame amongst the Beltway Blowhards!

Obamanable-Care: King Obama and Big Brother Unite

President Barack Obama, the King-in-Chief, tried ramming the contraceptive edict down the Church's throat. When the Church objected, the president, a self pro-claimed Christian from the Wright sect, made an "accomodation" he thought would placate both the religious right and the looney left, including the beloved feminists.

The Church elders are still angry, lawsuits are being filed and both sides are digging in their heels. The Constitution is once again under attack. Is there no end to this elitist and smug "I know what's good for you" Big Brother form of government?

Nancy Pelosi smugly said that we had to pass Obamanable-Care "to know what is in it". Now we know the monster that she and her liberal loser minions have created: 3,000 pages of centralized control, billions of dollars in increased taxes and thousands of new regulations that say BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING and MANDATING. Don't look now but our freedom is under attack.

Obama, his HHS Secretary, Kathleen Supercilious, and the progressives clearly know what is best for us: one size fits all for our health care needs. We will control and mandate what is best and it will be free, of course.

Be careful America. Our freedoms are under attack. These morons in DC will not stop until they have total control over our lives. Watch out because the unionized Light Bulb Police Brigade is being formed. Michelle Obama is working on a bill to put meters on our salt shakers. The poor now get free cell phones at a cost of $1.8 billion a year. What's next, "free" Chevy Volts for the poor?

Not to worry folks, the King will tax the rich to pay for all this nonsense.
