The pressure is mounting on the 5 or 6 Congressmen that Obama and Pelosi need to pass Obamanable-Care. Representative Bart Stupak of Michigan is leading the coalition of anti-abortion Dems in the House. Now he is whining about all the pressure he is under. Will SOMEONE, ANYONE, Democrat or Republican, have the GUTS and COURAGE to just stand up at a news conference and say:

"I am opposed to any funding of abortion in this health care legislation. I will vote NO and will not change my mind regardless of any pressure from the Speaker of the House or the President of the United States. I am standing on principle, something which is sorely lacking in Washington these days. I am pro life and need to take this stand, regardless of what it means to my future at the ballot box. Right is right and wrong is wrong and public funding for abortion is wrong."

Mr. Stupak, stand up and do what is right and America will remember you for your courage, long after Pelosi and Obama are merely footnotes in failed lberal history.

Wanted: someone to stand on principle!

President Barack Obama, the Bankrupter-in-Chief, will travel to Strongsville, Ohio on Monday to put on display and exploit another victim of the evil health care insurance companies. Strongsville is not far from Medina, the hometown of an uninsured cancer patient named Natoma Canfield, whom Obama has made a symbol of the need for reform. Ms. Canfield is a self-employed cleaning worker who wrote Obama about her health premiums which rose to nearly $8,500 a year and led her to drop her coverage.

This president is a disgrace how he uses these "victims" as props for all to see and pity. You can always find a person who is "down and out" and needs help. What the president will fail to mention is that for instances like Ms. Canfield's there are solutions, like Medicaid. She will not be denied care.

How about a few stories about the tens of thousands of people who have catastrophic costs that are COVERED and PAID by the health insurance companies, Mr. President? Ms. Canfield' plight is a lame reason to foist this health care reform legislation upon an American public that is generally satisfied with its health care coverage.

While Speaker of the Outhouse Pandemic Pelosi stays back in Washington, DC trying to bribe 4 or 5 more Congressmen to vote "Yes" on the bill, the president will do what he does best: talk and bore everyone to death with his victim and health care company bashing speech.

Obama is going to Ohio for the wrong reason. Ohio needs JOBS. It ranks 40th out of 50 in unemployment. Maybe the president should bring along his TARP blank checkbook and save and create a few thousand public union jobs in this economically depressed state before he leaves.

Obama can't close the deal on health care legislation so he will again do what he does best: talk, bore, and waste our time and money. He can then take this tired act overseas next week and give everyone a break in the U.S.. And while we all get a respite from his daily diatribes here, he will fly off thousands of miles away, pull out his foreign apology playbook, and piss everyone off back home.

Will the President stop in Columbus on his way home and "save" some more cop jobs?

The jobless rate was announced today. In spite of the dreadful snow storms the nation endured in February, the jobless rate held steady at 9.7%. The Dumbocrats said the unemployment numbers would have been much worse if Mother Nature hadn't dumped all that Global Warming white stuff on everybody.

Lost in all the "good" news were the facts:

> 1.2 million discouraged people stopped looking for jobs.

> 14.9 million people are still looking for full-time work.

> 8.8 million people have been forced into part-time work.

How is all that HOPE AND CHANGE working out for all you unemployed liberal idealogues? Just think, first it was the evil Bush's fault for all this unemployment, and now Mother Nature gets blamed for the slow economy. Don't worry because when the sun comes out in March and spring rolls around....Obama will take the credit if the job numbers improve.

Hapless Harry Reid, who has full-time employment for the next nine months, called the numbers "really good news". It just shows you that if the unemployment bar is set low enough in advance, the jobless numbers can then be spun positively by the Obamanoids.

President Obama, the Bankrupter-in-Chief, and daily orator, took time out of his busy day to visit OPower, in Arlington,VA . He pontificated for the 800th time how he and the Swamp Creatures in Congress will not rest until everyone finds a job. His speech was so boring that even CNBC cut out of the live feed. Good thing or Larry Kudlow would have dozed off!

A couple of days earlier the national retail sales figures came out higher than expected. One can only draw the logical conclusion that all the discouraged unemployed cashed their unemployment checks and went shopping during February.

"Hey, everybody, don't blame me, blame the Obamanable Snowman for this chronic unemployment!"

This country is on the road to ruin courtesy of the Beltway Blowhards, Buffoons, and Boors. Bailouts, Stimulus, Obamanble-Care, Crap and Tax, Tax and Spend, Spend and Tax, and trillion dollar deficits for as far as the eye can see. And the reason we are in this mess is because we are run by a collection of left-wing idealogues who have fed at the public trough for too long, Their sense of arrogance, stupdity, and entitlement is breath-taking.

When Pandemic Pelosi, the Speaker of the Out-House, was asked yesterday if Congress and Obama should start health care reform over, she scoffed at the idea and talked of "enseey, weensy spiders...little teeny tiny, you can't do it." Her buffoonish and boorish argument is that they have spent too much time on the process and they have to pass something. As if, spending trillions of dollars for an eternity requires only a quick and dishonest process.

Most of these blowhards in Washington have never run a business. They know how to tax them and regulate them, but if they had ever worked in the private sector they would know that oftentimes businesses invest millions (sometimes billions) of dollarsand tens of thousands of hours researching new products, drugs, ideas, etc. only to decide that the concepts do not work or they have to START OVER and take another approach. Not in the Beltway, where the liberal idealogues proclaim: "We have come so far and are so close. We have to pass something!"

Blowhards, Buffoons, and Boors...you can't make this stuff up. I can't wait for the reconciliation process.

First it was stimulus, next will be the load of garbage dumped on the taxpayer called Obamanable-Care

This is an example of what thn Dems call "bi-partisanship": the Democrats took up 2/3's of the time while the Republicans got the other 1/3. At least that was two hours more than they got the past year.

Of course, the President said he got his two hours because "he is the president". It was shameful when he told McCain, who was trying to make a valid point about all the special state payoffs, that "the campaign is over".

The most noticeable observation I can make during this waste of 6 hours was that the President was the most inexperienced person in the room. Kudos to Mr. Kantor for having the 2,000 page "prop" in front of him when he grilled the president about his facts.

Obama showed he is a good moderator and pontificator. He is, however, a lousy listener. His arrogance and naivete' were on display for all to see. Now he'll kick the bill back to Congress under the mistaken belief that another public yak-fest will turn the tide. Once again, the rookie president doesn't know how to manage the process.
As the nation suffers from acute Obamnia, the Moderator-in-Chief is meeting right now at Blair House with an assprtment of House and Senate leaders on a health care summit. About 90 minutes ago, the unemployment new jobless claims took an unexpected spike this week to close to 500,000.

The polls show that Americans now have a 10% favorable rating of Congress. I would suspect that the Democrats are around 9% and the Republicans around 11%. Either way, this Congress is a disgrace. They are spending money we don't have on idiotic programs that do not work.

The Republicans must take a stand against Obamanable-Care. The economy is in shambles, new jobs are extremely scarce, and the specter of deflation is staring at us. We simply cannot afford this massive boondoggle right now.

Obama wants to ram this health care bill down our throats. He's trying to convince us that it is budget neutral. Many people estimate that bill will cost closer to 2 trillion dollars over 10 years rather than 1 trillion.

The Republicans and some Democrats have to show some guts and JUST SAY NO. Don't start over...put this boondoggle on the shelf and take a six month vacation.
13 Republican Senators, including Scott Brown, voted for the $15 Billion jobs bill. It passed with 70 votes. Let's face it, this bill isn't going to create any jobs worth mentoning. However, Linda Dandy, my better half, suggested to me that maybe the Republicans are setting a trap for Obama before the Health Care "Summit" tomorrow.

Obama and his liberal buddies have been saying for months that the Republicans are the party of "NO". Well, they finally said "YES" and jumped on this jobs boondoggle. Now when Obama comes to his summit the Republicans can give Obama their list of reforms they want included in health care legislation and the things they want to eliminate.

After Obama rejects their ideas and slams the Republicans for being then party of "NO", the Republicans can point to their vote on the boondoggle jobs bill and say they are willing to vote for legislation when it makes sense. They are basically wasting $15 billion to save the American taxpayer $2 trillion. Are they this clever? We will see.

Either way, the American people are sick of this debate and sick of Congress. Congressional approval ratings now approach the Osama Bin Laden level at 10%. It probably breaks down to 9% approval for the Dumbocrats and 11% for the Republicans.

What we need is another snowstorm to shut down this three ring circus in Washington. Hope and Change can wait for another year.

After the Health Care Summit tomorrow ends in a stalemate, perhaps Obama should fly to Elkhart, Indiana for a third time to console the 200 people who got laid off from Accuride a couple of weeks ago.

Dear Harry, Nancy, Barack, and all you liberal bleeding-heart progressives: focus on Jobs and the Economy, not a job-killing massive health care bill.

Health Care Reform from these clowns can wait for another 100 years.

Barrack Obama visited a Home Depot mid-December, 2009, to push his ridiculous "Cash for Caulkers" boondoggle. Little did he know that his magnificent appearance would have such a positive impact not only on the economy, but also on Home Depot. A month after his visit Home Depot contributed to the unemployment rate by announcing layioffs of 1,000 people. Yesterday, Home Depot announced solid quarterly earnings and a 5% increase in its dividend.

Now Obama can take credit for improving Home Depot's performance while "saving and creating" the higher dividend in spite of the job cuts by the evil captains of the Home Depot ship.

Barack Obama likes to take credit for any "positive" sign out there. He might as well take credit for his appearance at Home Depot: 1,000 people layed off after his appearance followed by a dividend increase.

I wonder what would happen if he actually tried to cut taxes and spending? Would the country also get a growth dividend?

"Hey, George, what's the story with all those 'Miss Me Yet' billboards?"

Senator Scott Brown was sworn in Thursday in Washington and immediately called for sweeping "across the board" tax cuts for all Americans as a way to get the economy moving again. That theme was one of the platforms he ran on in his Massachusetts campaign. He heard the taxpayers frustration with the blowhards running DC. The majority of voters sent him to Washington to help stop the Obama-Reid-Pelosi liberal express train. Brown appears to be in touch with the people. Obama is not.

What does the elistist, populist, progressive and "out of touch" President want? The same old liberal nonsense. First he blames it on Bush and then he extolls the stupid Obamanable spending that does not work. Throw in attacks on big business and more taxes on the wealthy and what do you get -- S O O (Same Old Obama). You would think he would have gotten the voters' message by now.

Scott Brown understands that if you let people KEEP more of their money, they will figure out what to do with it much more efficiently than the overpaid jerks in Washington. An extra $20 bill a week in one person's pocket will be spent differently than some one else's. I might use the $20.00 one week to buy a case of Bud Light, while my neighbor might take his wife to the movies. Either way, we help stimulate the economy by spending our money on what we want to buy. Rest assured, none of us is ever going to buy a future ticket on the Tampa to Orlando Obamanable Bullet train.

When Obama talked about Change he was really talking about the pocket change that would be left in our pockets after he took all the rest out of our wallets. Let's hope Scott Brown, along with a few other voices in the conservative wilderness, like Jim DeMint and Judd Gregg, get their message across before Obama puts us all over and into a barrel.

The country will soon get this notice from the Chinese if he keeps yakking and spending.

It is tough to listen to any speech that is that long, particularly when Nancy Pelosi is jumping up and down whenever the President mentions another spending program and when VP Biden acts like a bobble head doll all night.

Regardless, his track record of saying one thing and doing another is not good. He set the stage by reminding everyone how Bush handed him a mess. He then proceeded to whine about Health Care Reform being delayed and punted the ball to Pelosi and Reid to find a solution. Nice leadership.

His attack on the Supreme Court was disrespectful and his condemnation of earmarks and lobbyists was laughable considering his own track record as President. The highlight of the evening was Hapless Harry Reid nodding off during the speech. Considering he was on the one yard line for getting Obamanable-Care passed a few weeks ago, he showed NO leadership in trying to close the deal. He preached reaching out to the Republicans during the speech. He should have invited Reid, Pelosi, Boehner, and McConnell to the While House to see what common ground on Health Care they all had. He did not. This is the only way to get Health Care passed.

Instead what does he do? He flys to Tampa, Florida today to talk about creating and saving jobs by building high speed rail trains that will ultimately have to be subsidized by the taxpayer. Hopeless Change we can live without. Unemployment will continue to be a major problem in 2010 as long as angry Obama keeps preaching and running around the country boring every one to death.

Hats off to Governor Bob McDonnell of Virginia for saying in 12 minutes what Obama could not say in 70 minutes:

"Government Closest to the People Governs Best."

Obama gets to strut his stuff tonight on the grand stage. Joe Willson promises not to call him a liar but regardless what he proposes tonight the President is still a left-wing liberal. Talk is cheap. Actions speak louder than words.

His proposed spending freeze on 17% of the federal non-entitlement budget is a joke. Putting a spending freeze on spending after you've increased the scope of government by hundreds of billions of dollars is laughable. What company that is having trouble announces to its stockholders that it is freezing spending? NONE. The good (or desperate) CEO gets a meat axe out and CUTS spending to save the company. Politicians never cut anything except a paycheck for their cronies. If he wants to save money, try eliminating the worthless Department of Energy -- real easy - $25 billion saved PER YEAR. All the government turkeys can then apply for real jobs with the oil companies.

Be careful of the spin-doctors who after the speech tell everyone that Obama is "Moving to the Middle". When I am driving down the highway I prefer the other drivers on the road to be either in the left lane or the right lane. If they are driving in the middle lane, they can kill you.

What I expect from Obama tonight is a retrenchment on Obamanable-Care:

"I heard the American people the past few weeks. Tonight I am proposing HEALTH CARE FOR ALL and FREE FOR ALL. The rich will pay for everything and you will not see your taxes increase one single dime."

What a guy.
