Anthony Weiner finally admitted what most of us non-kool aid drinkers already suspected. He acted like a 20 year old kid with too much testosterone. He says he won't resign over these stupid actions, but the die is cast. As always, it is the coverup, not the "crime" that made this problem much worse. (It is fitting that Bill Clinton officiated at his wedding.) He apologized to everyone only because he had gotten caught and the evidence was going to come out. What a stand-up guy!. At least he didn't trot out his poor wife to be humiliated in public along with him.

He will probably get some support from MSNBC and CNN, the Daily Kos etc., but there is no way he can survive this embarrassment. If he were a conservative Republican, there would have been calls for his resignation last week. But because he is one of the precious liberals in the Congress, he will certainly hang around for a while.

The Dumbocrats, however, will ultimately abandon him because he is a jerk. He already admitted that he lied to everyone, so how can anyone believe him anymore? He will continue to be the insipid and arrogant liberal that he always was. I hope he stays, kicking and fighting, until all his liberal buddies eventually abandon him.

Anthony Weiner represents all that is wrong with the attack-dog liberal establishment. He was always one of the liberal  "go-to guys"  whenever the left needed someone to attack a conservative cause.  And he never met a microphone or tv camera he didn't want to pontificate before. Those days are over - and his future liberal irrelevance and silence will certainly bother him more than anything.

Now, he deserves all the crap he most certainly will get, even that pie that will eventually be thrown from the back of the room.



Anthony Weiner should be judged by his peers.
