Captain Kangaroo Held Court Today

Chuckie Schumer, the useless liberal Senator from New York, held Kangaroo Court in the Senate today to grill five Big Oil CEO's. He asked the Conoco Phillips CEO about his "un-American comments" regarding the Senate trying to kill $2 billion in tax benefits to the industry.  The libs love to use ten year projections to fatten their numbers when it is to their benefit. They want to take the $2 billion in tax "savings" and blow it on entitlements.

The 5 CEO's made it clear that their comanies pay more than their fair share of taxes. John Watson said that Chevron's effective tax rate is 41%.

Nobody wastes more taxpayer money than liberal Chuck Schumer. And  he never met a microphone that he didn't want  to flap his lips over. I really enjoyed the super rich oil heir Jay Rockefeller joining into the conversation. What a hypocrite!

Meanwhile, our budget deficits continue to average $4 billion a day and these jerks grandstand at a meeting to pummel evil oil. I recently went to the grocery store and noticed the price for limes (for vodka tonics) have doubled, eggs have escalated 20%, and meat, cereal and orange juice have also increased in price . (Will we soon see the 8 ounce coffee "pound" can.)
