Budget Debate: The Path to Prosperity v. the Dawn of Destruction
Paul Ryan's budget, The Path to Prosperity is one blueprint to bring our fiscal insanity under control. It is complicated, delays too many of the cuts, and is already being demagogued by all the liberals. The Dumbocrats claim that if the Republicans have their way, Grandma will be thrown from the train, Grandpa will be eating dog food, all the sick children will get sicker, the poor kids will starve without their hot meals, and the poor high school grads won't be able to go to college.
Anyone who can accurately project budgets out ten years is a genius. Obama projects his "plan" out 12 years. Most people can't budget more than 6 months ahead because there are too many variables. What the American taxpayer understands is that if you spend $10.00 for every $6.00 you earn, the day of reckoning will eventually come.
Paul Ryan has laid out his plan. He calls it a "Path to Prosperity". The Dumbocrats, including the president, have villified and insulted him. Instead they have presented the American people with more of the same -- a continuing tax the rich War on Wealth, more spending and more borrowing..
Their "plan" should be called: THE DAWN OF DESTRUCTION.
The clowns left today for a 2 week break while they continue to ignore $200 million per hour deficits.
