Obama's Achilles Heel on Budget Debate: Deficit Reduction Committee's Report

Does Obama Need a Deficit Reduction Czar?
Paul Ryan released his 10 year plan to reduce the federal budget. It calls for $6.2 trillion in cuts, a slight difference from Obama's projections of $1.2 trillion in cuts. I think we have a problem, America. Obama is a Guns and Butter president. He talks peace yet bombs countries in the name of humanitarian aid and he never met a federal program he did not want to fund. He and his liberal buddies have racked up trillions of dollars in deficits and the bill is coming due. These low interest rates will not last forever. If rates go up just 2%, the federal deficit grows an additional $300 billion a year!
Obama, in typical beltway blowhard traditrion, appointed a deficit reduction commission to "study" our problems. Of course, the commission reported after the November elections. It recommended trillions of dollars in cost savings and tax changes. Obama essentially ignored the report, while he went on his merry way bombing and talking.
Now Paul Ryan has "spoken". The liberals will be enraged with predicitons of doom and gloom for all the poor and old ;people and the little children. And they will attack the rich, of course. What Obama forgot, however, is the commission with its outspoken co-chairman, Erkskine Bowles and Allan Simpson. They will speak out that the country needs to get its act together or the consequences will be dire. Obama will have no place to hide -- he created this monster, his precious deficit reduction commision, which he thought he could use to kick the can down the road.
Paul Ryan has now exposed the country's long term budget problems. Liberal losers like Anthony Weiner, Chuck Schumer, Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will shreik and holler while offering no alternativies to Paul Ryan's plan. Meanwhile, the president's commission members will tell the country -- "we told you so".
Game luck Mr. President.

Wow -- just saw this blog. Great!
