Smug Schumer: It's About the Next Generation, Stupid

Smug is one of the morons "behind" this budget impasse

Senator Chuck Smug Schumer got caught the other day talking about making the Republicans look "extreme" over the federal  budget impasse. His left-wing buddy, ex-Governor Howard Dean, chimed in how it would be good for the Democrats if the government were "shut down" by the Republicans.

Mr. Schumer and Mr. Dean need to take a private (not public) school's lesson in how the federal government really works. Several weeks ago, the Republican-controlled House passed a budget bill with $61 billion in cuts. The Democratic-controlled Senate, led by Hapless Harry Reid, has yet to pass any budget bill of its own,  If they passed a bill that was different from the House's, it then would have been reconciled in a conference commitee. Since the Senate has done nothing except whine about the Republicans being extreme over the budget, then how are the Republicans to blame for any of this budget mess?

The federal budget deficit for 2011 is projected to be over $1.6 trillion. That's $5 billion a day, $200 million an hour, Mr. Smug Schumer. I have two daughters and three grandkids, Mr. Smug. This budget battle should not be about the next election. It should be about the next generation. It is the arrogance and smugness of senators like Chuck Schumer  that turn my stomach. This man is a disgrace and deserves the contempt of all my fellow "extreme" tea partiers.
