Bernie Sanders: The Clueless Fili-Blusterer

Bernie Sanders, the Socialist Senator from Vermont, made a fool of himself on Friday when he filiblustered for over 8 hours as he tried to stop the compromise tax bill from being passed. He went on and on, ranting against the greedy "millionaires and billionaires" while ignoring the fact that 10% of the taxpayers pay 60% of all income taxes while his beloved constituents, the moochers, represent 50% of the population who do not pay any income taxes.

Bernie Sanders is clueless and arrogant. He continually demonizes the rich in this country as if they are all like George Soros. Not all rich people are from Wall Street, Mr. Sanders. Most of them are self-made through hard work and they pay enough in taxes. Most of them employ hundreds, if not thousands, of people who in turn pay taxes so the blowhards in Washington can figure out a way to waste their money.

Billionaires like Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, and Jon Huntsman should be applauded for living the American dream. They started with nothing and built successful businesses which now employ thousands of employees. And yes, they got rich along the way, which they should not have to apologize for, Mr. Sanders.. And, by the way, they all plan on  giving most, if not all, of their money away to various charities because they know it will be better spent than any government program Bernie can dream up.

Mr. Sanders lives in a dream world where everyone is in the middle class, no one is poor, and no one is rich. And the only way his dream can come true is to apply Robin Hood economics against the rich. The scheme ends, Mr. Filibluster, when you run out of other people's money to spend and waste.

Bernie Sanders, Anthony Weiner, Nancy Pelosi, and all the other liberal demonizers should be ashamed of themselves. Their war on wealth is a crusade that would make Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro proud. After all, it has been a great success in Venezuela and Cuba, where everyone is equal (and poor).
