One of Sheriff Joe's men recently pulled over one of those pricey tree-hugging Chevy Volts. This battery driven car, which gets an amazing 40 miles on a 4 hour charge at a tax subsidized $41k, must have run out of voltage when one of Joe's boys stopped to give assistance.

A recount of this episode was provided by an illegal eye-witness, Juan Valdez...

Officer Joe: "Hey, is this one of those new Chevy Volts? Whats the matter, run out of gas?"

Man in car mumbles: " No speak English".

Officer Joe: "Can I see your driver's license and registration? What's your name?"

Man in car: "Tam. No license."

Officer Joe: "Tom, what's your last name? I'm going to run the plates."

Tam: "Tam Bien."

Officer Joe: Don't get smart with me. What the hell is your real name?

Tam: Jumps out ot the car, screaming ..."Obama, Holder, Napolitano...save me..." Officer Joe runs the plates, it was stolen from the owner of Green Jobs, Inc.. The car was towed away to the Al Gore charging station.  Tom Bien was not pursued because prosecution was doubtful under the new illegal rules of law in Arizona.
