The Gong Show: Starring Barack Obama
Barack Obama,the ex-junior Senator from Illinois, is now officially in charge of the Beltway Gong Show. Who can forget the original GONG SHOW in the late '70's -- host Chuck Barris, the Unknown Comic, Gene-Gene, the Dancing Machine and the various guest "gongers"? It was the pre-cursor to today's boring American Idol show. Today, if a person makes a fool of him or herself on Idol, they are merely insulted by booriish scorers. In the good old days of the Gong Show, you got one, two or three gongs (a gang gong) from the three panelists.
Now we have Barack Obama in charge of the BELTWAY GONG SHOW. It plays daily on Cable and regular TV and is always augmented by a boring speech by the in-experienced president.
Let us count some of the recent episodes:..
Oil Spill: It's bad enough that there is no one in charge on the ground in the Gulf. Now we hear that the Coast Guard is stopping barges and searching them for life preservers! GONG!
OBama Sues Arizona over its immigration law: Instead of securing the borders, he is going to sue the state. LIberalism gone wild.
A Gang GONG!
Obama sends a letter to the G 20 leaders and tells them to keep spending money. GONG!
Obama goes on national TV and tries to convince America that we need more windmills and solar energy and Crap and Tax legislation. GONG!
Obama runs aroung the country promoting his Saved and Created Jobs program, while the unemployment rate hovers around 10%.
GONG!
Obama's Defense Department orders $600 million worth of helicopters from RUSSIA for the Afghan War.. I hope the computer chips that run these things are made in the USA -- probably not, China? GONG!
Obama continues to criticize Israel. GONG!
Obama is going to spend $150 million of taxpayer money to try to convince us that Obamanable-Care is a good deal for America. GONG!
Joe Biden puts the bag away and becomes the KNOWN COMIC. "Barack, baby, Barry. Barry, Barry...did you hear the joke about securing the borders by suing the state of Arizona?"
Does OBama get Gong Show Suggestions from Hugo Chavez?
