The BP oil spill drama goes on and on and on and ... Watching the constant video of the oil bursting from the pipes is about as exciting as watching a World Cup Soccer match...ZZZzzz.

Obama talks, nobody listens. BP runs a commercial every 5 minutes and nobody believes it. The Congress holds 5,000 hearings about the mess, accomplishing nothing except raising fees on the oil companies (which will get passed on to the consumer). Obama puts a moratorium on off shore oil drilling for at least 6 months and then tells BP to pay the unemployment benefits for the thousands of people who will be laid off. We are constantly bombarded by the pictures of chocolate covered pelicans and turtles and the liberals using tooth brushes to clean them up. One of my favorites is the workers using rags to take oil out of some god-forsaken swamp-like marsh. Can somebody please find these people a wet-vac to speed up the process?

Through all this crisis Obama dithers, talks, pontificates and blames everyone but his own inept leadership. Few people blame him for the oil spill. Many blame him for his pathetic, delayed, and dithering  response to this spill.

BP's stock has lost about 50% of its value since the spill. What does BP really stand for now? Let's us count the ways....

Beyond Petroleum: This was BP's ad campaign  before the rig blew up. I doubt  this ad campaign will ever come back in vogue.

Bankruptcy Protection: If Obama has his way, he will force BP into bankruptcy and find the next GM to manage. Be careful what you wish for!

Barack's Penance: Is Mr. Obama being punished by the conservative business gods for his anti-business actions and rhetoric? He has shown how inept he is at managing anything well unless all an issue requires is a teleprompter.

Beyond Pathetic: This whole episode belongs on  Comedy Central or the Cartoon Network. While all the facts are not in, it appears the morons at BP cut a few safety corners to save a few million. Let's cut some corners to save a few million and then we'll blow a few billion. Brilliant.

Bluster Personified: Barack Obama, the ex-junior Senator from Illinois, talks loudly and carries no stick. He has put no one in charge of the CLEAN UP, but instead continues to bluster and blather about how he is in charge.

Barack's Purgatory: As the story goes, many Christians believe that before you can go to heaven (if you aren't going to hell) you have to go to Purgatory where you will be punished for your sins on earth. After your "sentence" in Purgatory is completed you can go to heaven. Is Barack Obama being punished on Earth with this oil spill because of all his liberal sins?

Be Patient: Barack Obama, the ex-junior Senator from Illinois, has only been president for 18 months. He needs more time to learn how to be a leader.
