With these bozos in charge, what do you expect?

BP blows an underwater gasket off the coast of Louisiana and Arizona passes an immigration law in its state that mirrors the feds. Leaking oil and leaking borders - the beltway blowhards response is the same - all talk, inept action. The oil spill on the Gulf is turning into a nightmare for Obama. We are still waiting for an Oil Spill Czar to be appointed to oversee the inept bureaucrats in the federal government. Perhaps Janet Napolitano can make it her full time job, since she is doing such a wonderful job of being in charge of Homeland Security. Will someone please explain to me why Homeland Security is involved in this oil spill mess? Is it because the border problem has been fixed?

Speaking of the borders, has anyone done the math on Obama's pledge to send "up to 1,200" National Guard troops to Arizona? Arizona shares about 370 miles of border with Mexico. That equates to about 3 guardsmen per  mile! And if you assume three around the clock shifts of 400 guardsmen, that means, at best, ONE PERSON per mile. Wow, that will help. I can already see the border under control. Where was John McCain all these years while Arizona''s borders were under assault? Probably spending all his time reaching across the aisle to appease his liberal buddies. Now that the heat is on, he changes his tune and acts tough on immigration. Give me a break. It's time for him to retire with his buddy Arlen.

How about 12,000 guardsmen armed with the best weapons and equipment and backed up by dozens of immigrant deportation courtrooms ("night courts"), where these illegals can be processed immediately, fingerprinted, and sent home. If they come across the border again, send them to sanctuary city San Francisco, where they will be welcomed with open arms.

Leaking oil and leaking borders -- two more reasons why big government is held in such contempt by the vast majority of law-abiding Americans.
