Obama's New Energy Policy: Don't Ask, Don't Drill

Waiting to be confirmed...the Oil Spill Czar
At yesterday's poor excuse for a press conference in Lousiana, President Obama, the Oil Spill Director-in-Chief, reiterated his lack of an aggressive energy policy: "DON"T ASK, DON"T DRILL. He put a moratorium on new off shore drilling. Of course, he said nothing about drilling in easier to find places, like Anwar or closer to shore locations. Because of the ineptitude of BP and the bozos in the federal government, the liberal Obama chooses to appease the radical loon environmentalists who want everything to be run on batteries, wind, and solar, while punishing oil and gas exploration because of this spill.
Don't Ask, Don't Drill. What a policy...the Arabs, Russians, Brazilians, and Hugo Chavez must be laughing their asses off while we worry about the caribou and polar bears in Alaska and the pelicans in the Gulf. This country used to be great at building and discovering. No drilling technique is perfect. If there is an oil spill, you clean it up. The Gulf spill is a bad one, made much worse by an inept BP and and equally inept bunch of "energy bureaucrats" led by a President who clearly is all talk and no action.
Jimmy Carter looks better and better every day. At least he had a nice sweater to wear when it got cold. With actions like this, $5.00 gas is just around the corner. When will Obama appoint an Oil Spill Czar to fix the problem?
Obama may mock Sarah Palin's"Drill, Baby, Drill" mantra, but it sure beats, "Don't Ask, Don't Drill!

From now on, please refer to Barry as One-Term Obama.
