A Sin Tax on Bullets will Cut Down on the Murder Rate

The economy still plods along -- the unemployment rate remains at 9.7% The Dumbocrats can talk about all the "help" the stimulus package gave to the economy. But remember that these were the same morons that promised us unemployment would not go over 8% if the $787 billion stimulus package was passed.

Now, the states are all facing budget deficits and they are trying to tax everything that moves in the quest to socially engineer us to death. Stupid sin taxes like additional soda/sugar taxes in New York to allegedly combat obesity are all part of a disturbing trend to nickel and dime us to death under the guise of making us feel better. Everybody knows that these taxes will go into the general fund only to be pissed away on the special interests.

Sin taxes are a joke and are generally regressive taxes, in that they hit the poorest people in our economy. What a world we live in, where the "progressive" keep hitting us with more and more regressive taxes. Memo to all you moron politicians throughout America, OPEN YOUR WALLET, NOT MINE.

The regressive progressives need to take this sin tax stupidity to the next level. Put a sin tax on bullets. Surely, a dollar per bullet tax will cause a dramatic decrease in the murder rate, just like a tax on macaroni and cheese will cut down on all the obese porkers in America.
