Obama's Drill, Drill, Drill is Just Talk, Talk, Talk

Hugo Just Loves our New Energy Policy
Obama gave one of his daily "theme of the day" speeches a couple of days ago and tried to three card monty his way out of his ludicrous non-energy policy. His policy which proclaims he wants to drill, drill, drill in restricted places must have been written by the Sierra Club. It is really a pseudo-exploration (not drilling) policy designed to get RINO's like Lyndsey "Meet the Press" Graham to triangulate with liberal blowhards like John Kerry and Joe Lieberman on a watered down Cap, Tax and Trade Bill.
Obama has no interest in any real drilling for our vast oil and gas reserves. Energy Secretary Chu has made it clear he favors $6 or $7 per gallon gasoline as a way to get us out of our dependence on foreign oil. The president loves to run around the country visiting factories that produce batteries for cars that no one wants to buy (unless there is a BIG tax credit). Instead, he should be visiting natural gas areas like the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania and talk to the workers at companies like Chesapeake Energy. There are thousands of real energy jobs to be created all over the country if the President would just shut up and listen to intelligent energy people iike T. Boone Pickens.
The Energy Department's yearly budget is around $25 billion per year. It was put in place by the Barack Obama's mentor Jimmy Carter 25 years ago and what do we have to show for their energy "oversight"? Not much.
The dentists in this country do more drilling in any given day than Obama's new energy announcement will ever produce. It is a shame because while the president longs for the day when there is a windmill in everyone's back yard, the fact remains that we need to really drill, drill, drill for all our gas and oil or we will regret it.
His speech could have been just as easily delivered to Al Gore and his admirers at the University of East Anglia. The Spotted Owl and and the Delta Smelt must have breathed a sigh of relief after Obama's speech. They are safe until al least 2012.

We need to drill everywhere, create jobs and tell the bastards in the Middle East to go drink their oil. The liberals are dangerous to our national security and job creation.
