Paging Doctors Pelosi, Reid, and Obama...
According to the Libs, if we don't pass health care more people will end up in one of these!
A couple of recent polls of doctors found that at least a third of them would leave the profession if Obamanable-Care is passed. The polls were not scientific, but let's face it, with the population aging, future cuts in Medicare and Medicaid, and Obamanable-Care on the horizon and mountains of paperwork, what doctor in his or her right mind would want to stay in the profession?
Of course, the liberal blowhards in Washington ignore the fact that 30 million more people insured will result in more doctor visits, instead of trips to the emergency room. All you out there who are satisfied with your current health care insurance and doctor are in for a rude awakening. A trip to the doctor will be like taking an airline flight. Long waits and worse service.
It wil probably take 5 to 10 years before we really start seeing the shortage of doctors, because not everyone can just walk away. But the olders doctors who can retire early probably will and the younger people who once dreamed of being doctors will probably go to Washington to become overpaid health care bureaucrats or maybe even veterinarians; Fido will get better care than the master of the house!
Down the road we will have doctors educated in half-ass universities like the University of East Anglia, instead of Harvard or Yale.
