Health Care Summit: Last Chance for the Republicans to Stand Up to Change

As the nation suffers from acute Obamnia, the Moderator-in-Chief is meeting right now at Blair House with an assprtment of House and Senate leaders on a health care summit. About 90 minutes ago, the unemployment new jobless claims took an unexpected spike this week to close to 500,000.

The polls show that Americans now have a 10% favorable rating of Congress. I would suspect that the Democrats are around 9% and the Republicans around 11%. Either way, this Congress is a disgrace. They are spending money we don't have on idiotic programs that do not work.

The Republicans must take a stand against Obamanable-Care. The economy is in shambles, new jobs are extremely scarce, and the specter of deflation is staring at us. We simply cannot afford this massive boondoggle right now.

Obama wants to ram this health care bill down our throats. He's trying to convince us that it is budget neutral. Many people estimate that bill will cost closer to 2 trillion dollars over 10 years rather than 1 trillion.

The Republicans and some Democrats have to show some guts and JUST SAY NO. Don't start over...put this boondoggle on the shelf and take a six month vacation. Then in November we can put most of you blowhards on permanent vacation.

Two trillion dollars for this?
