Obama gets to strut his stuff tonight on the grand stage. Joe Willson promises not to call him a liar but regardless what he proposes tonight the President is still a left-wing liberal. Talk is cheap. Actions speak louder than words.

His proposed spending freeze on 17% of the federal non-entitlement budget is a joke. Putting a spending freeze on spending after you've increased the scope of government by hundreds of billions of dollars is laughable. What company that is having trouble announces to its stockholders that it is freezing spending? NONE. The good (or desperate) CEO gets a meat axe out and CUTS spending to save the company. Politicians never cut anything except a paycheck for their cronies. If he wants to save money, try eliminating the worthless Department of Energy -- real easy - $25 billion saved PER YEAR. All the government turkeys can then apply for real jobs with the oil companies.

Be careful of the spin-doctors who after the speech tell everyone that Obama is "Moving to the Middle". When I am driving down the highway I prefer the other drivers on the road to be either in the left lane or the right lane. If they are driving in the middle lane, they can kill you.

What I expect from Obama tonight is a retrenchment on Obamanable-Care:

"I heard the American people the past few weeks. Tonight I am proposing HEALTH CARE FOR ALL and FREE FOR ALL. The rich will pay for everything and you will not see your taxes increase one single dime."
