Happy New Year everyone! It is time to announce the second annual Beltway Blowhard of the Year Award. There were MANY deserving candidates for this award which was won last year by Blowhards Barney Blather Frank and Chris Countrywide Dodd.

The obvious candidates for the award were Obama, Frank and Dodd again, Pelosi, Reid, Napolitano, etc. However there is ONE Senator who epitomized everything that was wrong in Washington last year. The envelope please....

His disgraceful posturing to be the last yes vote on health care along with the Cornhusker $100 million payoff was one of the worst examples of Beltway pork politics that I have ever witnessed. He deserves the scorn of every taxpaying American and should be thrown out of office by the good citizens of Nebraska.
