Obama, Boeing and the Promise of 787
Question: What do President Obama, Boeing, and 787 have in common?
Answer: Neither Obama's $787 billion dollar stimulus package nor Boeing's 787 aircraft have taken off.
The delay-plagued 787 Dreamliner could make its first flight as early as tomorrow. The first test flight of the 787 has been delayed multiple times the past year since it was first developed in 2007. The $787 billion stimulus package was rammed through the Congress with the promise that it would keep unemployment under 8%. All the stimulus package did was largely bail out state and local governments and "save and create" phoney jobs.
Both 787's have been a joke so far, How is that HOPE & CHANGE working out for all you liberals out there? Probably about as well as Boeing's much ballyhooed 787 "Dreamliner"!
