Obama's Front Door - Back Door Afghan Strategy

Barack Obama's speech last night at West Point displayed his new Front Door - Back Door Afghan Strategy . He will send 30,000 troops through the front door to try to please the conservatives, while promising the libs he will exit via the back door in 18 months. His heart is clearly not in this war. There was no mention of "victory" or "winning" the war. He did, of course, blame Bush for the war he inherited.

Can you imagine General Dwight Eisenhower, on D-Day, June 6, 1944, declaring that the "surge" on the beaches in Normandy would be followed by a troop withdrawal in Germany 18 months later? We needed to win the war and our intentions were made clear by him - victory at any price, regardless how long it took.

The President's speech was hardly inspirational and many of the West Point cadets could be seen nodding off in the audience. Our enemies have been emboldened by our foreign policy weakness and "dithering" by the Apologist-in-Chief. Our brave soldiers deserve better.
