Why can't Hapless Harry Reid and Nancy Pandemic Pelosi close the Health Care reform sale? They have huge majorities in the House and Senate. Why? Because they are over-matched partisan hacks who rose to power and got control because of the good old boy rules of Congressional power: serve for decades and your turn will come if you have made enough deals over the years. The newer, more talented members need not apply for the jobs.

Hapless Harry represents Nevada, which is primarily known for its ability to draw millions of people to its Las Vegas oasis. The state has little else to offer any sane individual except a relatively inexpensive place to retire in a  subprime foreclosed house. The hapless one has a dreary personality and is always talking about the negative side of life in America. There is a reason no one would dance with you Harry at the high school prom. You have zero personality and zero qualities as a leader.

Pandemic Pelosi, the worst Speaker in the House's history, represents the ultra-liberal fringe in society. How could any Democrat with any self respect  vote for her to be their leader? She is so out of touch with mainstream America-- she is a radical, left-wing, big spending nut. She does represent her ultra liberal district well. But she should NOT be the Speaker of the House.  She is third in line to be President of the United States -- a very scary thought around Halloween time.

So there you have it, Hapless Harry Reid, from Nevada and Nancy Pandemic Pelosi from San Francisco. These two "leaders" are so far removed from mainstream America that it defies description. There are many fine people in the House and Senate who are deserving to lead Congress from these two very important leadership positions. If this is the best the Democrats can do, then they have no one to blame but themselves when the Tea Parties react to their big government, big spending programs with utter contempt.
