Even the Health Care Fairy Can't Help the President Out on This Crusade


Last night, President Obama, the Bankrupter-in-Chief, pulled another one of his fast talk double-switches when he talked about health insurance reform. What happened to health care reform?

He is great at these not so subtle changes in words. When he knows he is losing a battle he changes the word game. What does he think he is doing, playing SCRABBLE with the American public? Remember when he ran around the country telling everyone how he was going to create millions of new jobs? Then when he knew it wasn't going to happen, he made the goal easier to achieve and changed it to save and create millions of jobs - a huge difference.

Then he has the audacity to tell everyone last night that this health care argument "is not about me". You are correct Mr. President, you and the Beltway Blowhards in the Congress have the finest health care AND insurance system in the world. This argument, Mr. President is about ME and the millions of Americans who are sick and tired of having the government intrude into our lives and take away our freedom. And millions of us are sick and tired of paying for other people who can afford to pay for their own insurance.

Does the current system need improvement? Of course, it does. But to think it can be fixed by a rookie President and a bunch of free spending liberals in a matter of a few weeks is absurd.
The devil is always in the details and the details just don't add up.


I saw my mother get jerked around by the Medicare system a few years ago before she died. The issue today is Medicare and Medicaid are broken and need to be fixed first before this legislative boondoggle is passed. Any kind of a national health care system on top of these two financial insurance disasters will lead to health care rationing, doctors leaving the professions by the thousands, and the beginning of total control over our lives.

You are right, Mr. President, this is not about you, Pandemic Pelosi, Clueless Harry Reid, or Christopher Coxcomb Dodd. This is about my freedom. Stay the hell out of my personal life. And stop parading around all these victims who don't have health care. There will be millions more future victims if you force this giant boondoggle on all of us.

The American people are not as stupid as you think. Your words now ring hollow and you are looking more and more like Jimmy Carter, except his VP had some brains.

Change? I Hope not!
