Are Obama and Biden Advising the Pope about Capitalism?

Pope Benedict XVI, in his third encyclical entitled, Charity in Truth, denounced capitalism and called for a profoundly new way to organize finance and business. He called for a new social and ethical dimension to capitalism and argued his case for a new world authority to help champion the "common good". He must have been consulting with Obama and Biden before it was written.

"The conviction that the economy must be autonomous...it must be shielded from influences of a moral character, has led man to abuse the economic process in a thoroughly destructive way...In the long term, these convictions have led to economic, social and political systems that trample upon personal and social freedom, and are therefore unable to deliver the justice that they promise"

The people that care the most about these encyclicals are the Vatican and all those pious bureaucrats that run the place. May we ask the Pope for some transparency about the Catholic Church's finances over the years? May we get a "peek" at their books to see what moral investments they have? Also, can you flash a little less gold when you conduct mass, please?

Does anyone need to remind the pope that we would still be in the Dark Ages if we followed the Catholic Church's strict teachings? How about another Crusade in the Middle East to get some more terrorists riled up?

Before anyone denounces me for this blog, please let me state that I am a Catholic who ignores most of these pious preachings from the moral "higher ups" in Rome. I know right from wrong and don't need 1,000 rules written by 80 year old men to guide my life.

Meanwhile, back in DC, Joe Biden acknowledged on Sunday, that he and President Obama, the Bankrupter-in-Chief, misread the economy. How can you misread the economy when you two geniuses ran around the country bashing Bush and deriding the economy as "the worst since the great Depression"?

Maybe he, the President, and the Pope can gather together in a room and come up with some more lame, moral ideas to tax the rich, redistribute wealth, and destroy our economy.  These do-gooders need to be reminded that their coffers would be barren without capitalism creating wealth. Capitalism is certainly not perfect, but it sure beats statism!

I think we need another stimulus package and an Obama encyclical from the Beltway entitled:

Trickle up Poverty: Hope and Change

Pope Benedict's and Obama's views on capitalism are like

                                                                                two peas in a pod.

It's too bad Ron Paul's personality is so bland. We need his budget conservatism to save us. The Pope, Barry and Joe are so out of touch that they belong in the Land of the Lost.
