Sarah Palin: Three Strikes, She's Out or a Home Run?
Sarah Palin's decision to resign as governor of Alaska, I am sure, was a difficult one. We will never know if the reasons for her leaving the office are the whole story, but I wish her well. America needs her more than Alaska does! Instead of "North to Alaska" to see what she is doing, she needs to visit us in the rest of America and speak out for what most conservatives believe in.
Let's face it, the libs hate her for three reasons:
1) She is attractive and very popular with us regular folks. Wherever she goes she draws HUGE crowds. John McCain would have been crushed without her on the ticket. In spite of her alleged inexperience for the VP post, she energized McCain's moribund campaign. The campaign would have been a lot worse without her on the ticket. Let's face it, most women do not like other attractive women. These women have good cause for their disdain for people like the dim-witted Hollywood dullard Paris Hilton, but when confronted by an attractive woman with some common sense, they feel threatened. "My god, she's just like me, but prettier", they say. "There must be something wrong with her. She has got to be hiding something!"
2) She is a pro-life conservative. Her honest positions on the need for less government, drilling for our own oil, and being anti-abortion are the kiss of death for most libs. The people on the left get more worked up over a Michael Vick brutalizing dogs than it does over a Dr. Tiller aborting 60,000 fetuses.
3) She is not a member of the Eastern Egg-Headed Elite. Yes, poor Sarah is not a graduate of Yale. No, she never worked for Goldman Sachs or on the Beltway at some over-priced law firm. She is just a regular person -- she represents the millions of Americans who have been left out of the political process the last 20 years. She is one of us!
Did she make a mistake by "quitting" the governorship before her term was up? Maybe, but only time will tell. But she will always be branded a "quitter" by the left and brutalized by the liberal media who do not understand why so many people love her.
She will probably make a fortune writing a book and making speeches for $50 to $100k a pop. Good for her. The left doesn't seem to have a problem with all the money Bill Clinton makes peddling influence or talking about his legacy or Gore the Bore making millions on his voodoo Climate Change/Global Warming nonsense.
Don't count Sarah out...she has the heart of a lioness and the charisma of Margaret Thatcher. Good luck, Sarah!

Bob Corker and Sarah Palin, 2012. I don't care who runs for President as long as BOTH are on the ticket!
