Hear Ye, Here Ye....

Someone mentioned to me today that it's GLBT month:Gay, Lesbian, BiSexual, and Transgender Pride Month.
 
I had no idea. The proclamation was signed on June 1, by President Barack Obama. I guess I missed the ceremony and the many parades and private celebrations that must have been held to kick off this month.

In the proclamation, the President declared:  During LGBT Pride Month, I call upon the LGBT community, the Congress, and the American people to work together to promote equal rights for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Perhaps in August. the vast majority of Americans can celebrate a proclamation for AAAB (Americans Against Abnormal Behavior) Month.

Some Other Suggestions for the President:

TDD Month: Trillion Dollar Deficit Month

HAPPY Month: Husbands Against Parenting, Pandering, and Yammering Month

PTBN Month: Pleased to be Normal Month

CTBN Month: Close the Border Now Month

NMSPPO Month: No More Speeches Please, President Obama Month

WNTLN Month: We Need Term Limits Now Month

The possibilities are endless.
