The Beltway Blowhards, Executive Pay and Perks

Barack Blank Check Obama, the Bankrupter-in-Chief wants to curb executive pay for all the moron executives who ran the TARP companies into the ground. The theory is, if they are now feeding at the public trough, shouldn't these jerks be paid less?

Speaking of jerks, how about a law to curb the pay of the Senators and Congressman and all the bureaucrats that let us down the past decade? The average American family makes between $40- $50 thousand per year. The average government worker makes $77K per year with no threat of ever getting laid off or fired. Then we have the Beltway Blowhards, the Senators and Congressmen, who continue to pass ridiculous new pieces of legislation on top of useless legislation that already doesn't work.

They NEVER eliminate programs or fire people for incompetence. They do, however, fire people who try to investigate corruption by their pals in the government! And they never blame themselves when they are asleep at the switch, like Chris Dodd the Dud or Barney Blather Frank during the sub-prime crisis. (Oh, I almost forgot, it was Bush's fault.)

And while we are at it, if the Congress is going to go crazy because these TARP CEO's are still thumbing their noses at the taxpayers while they fly around the world in their corporate jets, why don't they look in the damned mirror at all the junkets and perks they abuse at taxpayer's expense? Our country is more bankrupt than any of these companies. The SAME rules should apply to everyone, but, of course, they don't because Congress never passes legislation that applies to them.

Yet, they get automatic pay raises and the best health care coverage in the world. Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Chuckie Schumer, Henry Waxman, Olympia Snowe, Ma'am Boxer, Charlie Rangel, Pandemic Pelosi, Clueless Harry Reid ...the list is endless of blowhards who waste billions of dollars but keep getting re-elected by a dumb electorate.

What job in America guarantees six years of great pay, huge expense accounts and a 90% chance of not getting fired -- a U.S. Senator. It's nice work if you can find it. The only problem is you have to sell your soul to get the job and then to keep it.

                                                                                 A billion here, a trillion there...all wasted
