Barbara Boxer: Beltway Blowhard of the Week

Welcome, Ma'am Boxer !

Barbara Boxer, the useless liberal Senator from California, got snippy with Brigadier General  Michael Walsh when he referred to her as "ma'am" during an Environment and Public Works Committee meeting.  She immediately stopped him and asked: "Do me a favor, could you call me senator instead of ma'am? It's just a thing. I've worked so hard to get that title. I'd appreciate it. Thank you."

The general responded: "Yes, senator".

Senator Boxer works so hard at ensuring that bankrupt California gets only 75 cents back from Washington for every tax dollar it sends to DC. Perhaps she should work a little harder! And her state now has 11.5% unemployment! Nice job, Babs!

Ma'am Boxer represents the out of touch Beltway Blowhards who don't respect the military. She just doesn't get it. Do you think she will talk to her California voters like this when she lies to them to get re-elected in 2010? If she talked to me like that, I'd tell her to kiss my ass!

The general, I am sure, wanted to say: "Ms. Boxer, with all due respect, thousands of soldiers have layed down their lives for people like you. I will call you any damn name I want. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so pompous and full of yourself. I called the male members on this stupid committee "sir" and no one objected. The term "ma'am" is considered honorific in the military. Get over it. I have better things to do with my time. Perhaps, after the 2010 election, I can call you former Senator Boxer."

For this pompous display of hubris, Barbara Boxer has earned the designation of Beltway Blowhard of the Week and has been placed on our WALL OF GALL.

Barbara Boxer, Queen of the Clowns

Barbara, surely you jest about your importance!
