This was an amazing week in the Beltway. First we had the President, Bankrupt Blankcheck Obama, fleeing Washington like he was still campaigning, trying to sell his Bankruptcy Plan for America. He took time out to fill out his March Madness brackets for ESPN, hang out with the liberal Terminator Arnold, then went on Leno to yuck it up about his bowling prowess.

                                                                                              
 
He clearly does not want to govern the old fashioned way, behind the scenes. Instead he loves to run around the country, with a fawning press at his beck and call, wave to his adoring crowds in the states that have the most liberal victims.

When is this man going to sit down in his office and LOOK AT THE DEFICIT numbers he is trying to rack up for the next 10 years? For those of you who missed his road act, you can catch him on 60 Minutes tonight. I'm sure he will be asked a lot of tough soft ball questions.

Meanwhile, back in the Beltway, the Blowhards led by illegal immigrant champion, House Speaker Pandemic Pelosi is out of control. Pelosi was back in her district last week condemning raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. She praised the immigrants as "very, very patriotic". This woman does not understand the definition of illegal AND she is the Speaker of the House. Joe Biden is one heartbeat away, and this liberal San Francisco loser is two heartbeats away from the Presidency. Scary thought.

And then we had the AIG fiasco where Congressmen and Senators, led by Barney Blather Frank and Chris, the Connecticut Coxcomb, Dodd were screaming all week about the $165 million in bonuses while the company has already received over $150 billion in bailout money, with very little to show for it. Of course, Tim the Tax Man Geithner, changed his story several times about when he knew about the bonuses. The monster Frank - n - Dodd is just one example of a Toxic Congress trying to get control of a Toxic Economy. Most of the members of Congress never ran anything in their private lives -- too many of them are professional politicians (bs artists) or ex-lawyers, expert at writing bills no one has the time or inclination to read, until after the bill has been passed. The President of the United States has a very limited background -political activist, community organizer, Senator for 2 years, Presidential candidate for 2 years. He has ZERO background in running anything. He should have gone to Hollywood like Ronald Reagan did and then run a state for a few years before attempting to run our country. However, he took his shot, won the election and we must now put up with a President in training.

His managerial inexperience is showing. He needs to get down to WORK and start being realistic about his ambitious agenda, which will bankrupt an already bankrupt country. He talks a good game, but the devil is always in the budget details. And we have not had that "FOREIGN TEST" Joe Biden talked about during the campaign. Will it come when he is on Saturday Night Live- "Live from New York, the Pakistan Revolution" and we have the President on the phone with the Pakistan Prime Minister..."

The President clearly doesn't like to spend a lot of time in the Beltway and we don't blame him because the atmosphere is so toxic. However, trillions of dollars in toxic assets managed by a toxic Congress is an invitation to disaster. Do I have a lot of faith in Obama's ability to reign in this Congress? NO, because he is a super spending liberal too.  However, the financial numbers are getting so bad, that he will be FORCED to deal with the real world of deficits, growing unemployment, and an ever increasing ANGRY taxpayer base. The Silent Majority which is rapidly becoming the Angry Majority will soon be heard. 2010 is just around the corner.
