Round 1: Robert Gibbs v. Rick Santelli - Tea Party America!

In his daily White House Press (Talking Points) briefing on Friday, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs took a verbal shot at the GREAT Rick Santelli, CNBC financial reporter at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Santelli had made an impassioned plea that the recent HOME AFFORDABILITY PLAN was not fair to the 92% of the people who pay their mortgages on time. His quote of: "a card laid is a card played" dismissed the people who want a "do-over" on their delinquent or underwater mortgages.

A smug Robert Gibbs accused Santelli of not reading the bill, and waived its first page to the press corp and told everyone that Mr. Santelli could go to the web site, find the bill and press print. He then invited Mr. Santelli to the White House to discuss the issue over a cup of decaf.

On Friday, Larry Kudlow had Santelli on his CNBC show Kudlow Report. Rick had a copy of the bill, said he had read it, proceeded to express his objections about the bill and then TORE UP THE BILL and threw it in the air to express his disgust for it.

Memo to Mr. Gibbs -- please extend the invitation to Mr. Santelli ASAP. I would send him to the meeting with just a pen and a blank pad to meet you, your stack of talking points and any liberal members of Obama's administration you choose. Put the show on TV for all to see. I'll put my money on Rick Santelli putting you and your band of liberal big spenders in their place.

Better yet, call a real TOWN MEETING where Obama the Oracle can talk with Mr. Santelli and 99 other people who have mortgages (92 who are paying and 8 who can't). It would be the highest rated show in America. Most citizens would cheer for Mr. Santelli when he spoke for all of us who are disgusted with big, liberal, "victim enabling" government.

It looks like the Obama administration can't take criticism from anyone. Sorry, Mr. Obama, Chris Matthews doesn't represent middle America.  Rick Santelli does.

For his smug performance Mr. Gibbs has been put on the Beltway Blowhards WALL of GALL for his disgraceful and condescending manner towards Mr. Santelli.

One of our greatest Presidents was Andrew Jackson, a Democrat. He believed that in this country political power ultimately rests with the people. Ordinary people should run the government, not liberal elitists. Mr. Santelli has struck a chord with the hard working, ordinary people of America.

Welcome to TEA PARTY AMERICA!!!!!
