Nationalize the Banks: Memo to Chris Dodd - SHUT UP

On Friday, Beltway Blowhard extraordinare, Christopher Dud Dodd, the Connecticut Coxcomb, pontificated as chairman of the Senate Banking Committee that Citi and B of A may have to be nationalized for "a short time". He further bloviated that "I don't welcome that at all, but I could see how it's possible it may happen. I'm concerned that we may end up having to do that, at least for a short time."

Mr. Dodd, what are you talking about? Just what is your definition of nationalization - FDIC takeover or how about you and Barney Blather Frank running each bank (into the ground)?

Memo to Chris Dodd -- please shut up and release Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner from the witness protection program and tell him to get moving on the systemic banking problem. Is Geithner back from Italy yet or is he too busy preparing his 2008 tax return? Furthermore, you should tell Sheila Bair, FDIC chairwoman, to hire about 10,000 more workers for her agency so they can actually close these two banking monstrosities.

Every time Dodd opens his mouth, people in Connecticut and the rest of America throw up. This clown couldn't run a bank teller line but he sure knows how to negotiate a nice mortgage.

It's time for Dodd the Dud to leave the Senate. Dump Dodd 2010.
