Obama the Traveler: The Campaign is Over Sir

Barack Obama continues to travel all over the country talking to "common folk" about the ridiculous stimulus package. He is acting like the campaign is still going on. He is a great talker, but let's see if he knows how to govern.

He went to Springfield,Illinois today to celebrate Lincoln's birthday. The only thing Obama has in common with Lincoln is that they both were Senators from Illinois.

Instead, he should have gone to Chicago where Walmart has been trying to put up a half dozen new stores, with very little success. Of course, there has been tremendous opposition to the evil Walmart  because the company is non-union.

Everyone seems to forget that the building of these stores would employ hundreds of union construction workers per store. Once built Walmart would hire thousands of workers at good wages ($10 - $12 per hour) for high school educated people. Unemployment for high school graduates is close to 12% so why wouldn't the Democrats want more Walmarts for the "common folk"?

Oh, I forgot, Walmart is evil because they are non-union. The libs conveniently seem to forget that whenever Walmart opens a store, thousands of good, hard-working people stand in line for hours for a few hundred jobs.

But, what do you expect from a liberal, Chicago politician? He'd rather get a photo op kissing up to Lincoln's legacy while ignoring the obvious need for more retail jobs in Chicago.

CHANGE?

Not really. The same old liberal agenda.

PS. This just in. Mr. Obama, you just lost another Cabinet nominee. This time someone with some backbone. Judd Gregg, you are needed more in the Senate, not as a puppet Commerce Secretary. Mr. Gregg, when you get back in the Senate perhaps you can talk some sense into those three liberal RINO neighbors Collins, Snowe, and Specter.

Obama is a young Jimmy Carter, except he talks a much better game. Hopefully, he is gone by 2012. He is the perfect sucker for Pelosi to push around.

Judd Gregg for President! Since no one wants the job, whey don't they just close the Commerce Department? It wastes $8 billion per year -- it could pay for Harry Reid's Railroad.
