Barack Obama criticizes the greed and corruption on Wall Street. (Memo to Mr. Obama--ask Governor Patterson if he would like to have the taxes on that "greed" to cover his mounting New York state budget deficits.) And then he keeps supporting the tax cheats he nominates for important positions in his administration.

FIrst Tim Geithner gets a pass to become Treasury Secretary because he is the only person in the universe who understands the banking system. Now Tom "Whoops" Daschle apologizes for failing to pay more than $140K in back taxes. Of course, Barrack "Ethics" Obama continues to support him for the post of Health and Human Services Secretary.
 
Tom Daschle is just another example of a limousine liberal who used to pass laws you and I have to obey but now fails to follow them himself. If he were a Bush nominee, the Democrats would be screaming bloody murder and MSNBC would be beside themselves with anger.

You can't make this stuff up. Mr.Obama, who was going to bring "change" to Washington, appoints two tax cheats to positions in his administration. And part of Daschle's tax problems involves not paying taxes on free usage of limousines!

If former Republican Majority Leader Trent Lott been nominated for this position, it would have been withdrawn already. Instead we get to see Mr. Obama "standing by his liberal man" while America holds its collective nose and wonders what kind of change we are really going to get.

Perhaps, Mr. Obama is in over his Presidential head. Take him away from his teleprompter and there isn't much substance tp his act. The stimulus package Nancy Pelosi rammed down his throat is a joke and these two recent  nominations are embarrassing.

Remember, it was only a few years ago Mr. Obama was a community organizer, then a state Senator, and a U.S. Senator for only 4 years, (with no significant accomplishments). If this act keeps up, the Democrats and libs will be longing for the Carter years.

Even Eleanor Clift and Helen Thomas must be disappointed, although that may be pushing the envelope a bit.
