Obama is already keeping the loons on the left happy with his push for new environmental rules to force car makers to produce more fuel-efficient and less polluting cars.

Just what the bankrupt Shrinking Three carmakers need right now--mandates to produce more cars in the future that nobody will want.  Of course, the great state of California, which leads the nation in nutty laws and fiscal deficits, has the toughest emissions standards in the 50 states.  And Obama wants the federal government to follow its lead.

Obama said that the federal government must work with, not against states to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This is a noble gesture but ill-timed considering the current sad state of the economy.

The left is heralding this directive by Obama as keeping his campaign promise to fight climate change and reduce dependence on foreign oil. 

Meanwhile, our crack investigators have gotten hold of two Defense Department top secret photos of prototypes of its new GREEN Weapons Vehicles. Here is the first look at the new vehicles. The one on the left is called the Gorebore and the one on the right is called the T-Boone. We understand the U.N. is interested in placing an order for a few vehicles as long as they are painted blue.
