President Bush: THANK YOU. President Obama: NO THANKS!

President Bush has been out of office for just two days and already President Obama is trying to make nice with his liberal friends.

First and foremost to President Bush, THANK YOU for keeping us safe after 9/11. Since that  horrible day no one could have ever imagined that we would not be attacked on our soil again. The nation owes Mr. Bush and the thousands of dedicated men and women who kept us safe a 21 gun salute.

If they sometimes bent the rules to protect us, I say better safe than sorry. The enemy has no rules. How quickly we forget the animals in Iraq slitting people's throats on video to make a point, and now the liberals are worried about giving these terrorists their proper day in court?

The liberal blowhards will never give Mr. Bush proper credit for keeping us safe during his Presidency. They all seem to be more concerned with the "rights" of our vicious enemies, including many of those animals housed in Gitmo.

Liberal windbags like Helen Thomas and Eleanor Clift now have their sweet talking, enemy appeasing hero in the White House.

And what is one of the first things Mr. Obama does in an executive order?  He orders Guantanamo to be closed within a year.

Robert Gibbs, his press secretary, said today that President Obama recognizes his "most important job is to keep America safe".  Furthermore,  the closing of Gitmo "will enhance the security of the American people". This is the most moronic statement ever made by a press secretary and it is his first press conference!

What a stern message to send to our enemies. I feel safer already!

What a disgrace Obama is. He will regret the day when this prison for these bastards is closed.

I watched the Gibbs press conference live The guy is a moron. He won't last long in this pressure packed "spin" position. He sounds about as intelligent as Biden.
