Here we go again. The USA long ago was on the gold standard  Now we are officially on the DEBT STANDARD to pay our bills.  When will all this bailing out end?

The geniuses at Citi "Blank" have over $300 billion in troubled assets and the Federal Government swoops in and injects billions of dollars into this pathetically run institution.The stock was trading at GM levels on Friday. With the news that the government printing presses were running at full capacity over the weekend to prop up Citi, the stock rallied over 50% today. Don't worry, taxpayers, Citigroup still plans on paying the NY Mets $20 million per year for the rights to name their new ballpark "Citi Field". What a country! Maybe the Yankees can get AIG to pony up $25 million per year for the naming rights to their new stadium.  The Yankees can name it  "Bail Out Park" and Hank Paulson can throw out the first ball on Opening Day.

Aren't you tired of watching these brilliant Wall Street moguls make millions while destroying their institutions? Then they go begging to Uncle Sam to bail them out. It makes you want to puke. And please, no more stories about how smart all these people on Wall Street are. These jerks who made millions creating the leveraged, bubble economy are the same ones now asking us to bail them out.

Oh yeah, Mr. Obama, you of the Office of the President Elect, please do not ask Mr. Rubin for any more advice. He has done enough damage already to the country. He's just another Goldman Sachs genius with a tarnished reputation.
